Moons ago, a terrible wildfire ripped through the territories of the old Clans, destroying everything in it's path, be it flora or fauna. The four Clans - ForestClan, ShoreClan, StormClan, and EmberClan - were ripped apart and separated. Everything was destroyed and no longer habitable; the Clans lost nearly half of all of their members. Shocked and ruined, the four Clans had no choice but to set off in search of new territory to settle.

After their Great Journey, they came to a place that seemed like paradise. Their was room for all four clans to live peacefully; the Medicine Cats were even able to locate a new Moonstone with the help of their beloved StarClan. The four Clans were finally able to shed their smokestained past and take on new names. ForestClan became MeadownClan, ShoreClan became MistClan, EmberClan became FlareClan. StormClan kept its name, tribute to the fierce storms that constantly ravage their territory. The cats of the Clans were finally able to look into the future with new hope.

However, there is a fierce new enemy that stalks the shadows of their nightmares. These are foreign creatures that no Clan cat has ever encountered before; they are creature of tooth and claw, night hunters with an eerie resemblance to Clan cats. So far, the only trouble with these new threats has been the stealing of prey from the four Clans. But it is only a matter of time until it comes to a confrontation, face-to-face. It's a ticking time bomb until Clan blood is spilt.

The strength of the bonds between the four Clans is being tested once again as they work together to rid themselves of this foreign threat. But how far can they bend before they break?
