Highstones is home to the Mothermouth, a dark and winding tunnel that leads to the Moonstone within. It is pitch-black, and the only way of navigating it is through sound and touch. Some parts are narrow that you can feel both sides with your whiskers.

Inside of the Mothermouth and Highstones is where the sacred Moonstone can be found. Positioned under an opening in the ceiling, the moon casts it's light upon the stone, which flares into a dazzling white flame.

To the north of the clans lies the Highstones, named for the large clusters of rocks in front of the cave opening. Inside is the legendary Moonstone, to which leaders go to receive their nine lives, and where medicine cats travel each half-moon to meet with StarClan.
