Although the river serves as a boundary line, the water itself belongs to RiverClan. The border with ThunderClan is marked as the far bank, on the Sunningrocks side. The river is RiverClan's namesake and complete source of food, running throughout their entire territory and eventually flowing just past BloodClan territory.

The part of RiverClan territory not dominated by the river gives away to relatively flat, grassy fields. Mice and voles can be found and hunted here, though they are not as abundant as in ThunderClan's forests. Every once in a while, Twolegs and their dogs run around here, but not often enough to worry about.

The stepping stones are an easy way to cross the river, located just south of Sunningrocks. They are very slippery and extremely dangerous just after a rain, when the river will swell, sometimes to nearly twice their usual volume. A lot of RiverClan cats catch fish here.

A Twoleg path runs through RiverClan territory, starting from an artificial bridge across the river just below the gorge and cutting all the way across to the abandoned Twoleg nest. Twolegs sometimes come here with their kits and their dogs, often to just walk but other times to splash around in the river... and scare off all of the fish. Be careful when passing!!

At the edge of RiverClan territory lies the menacing grey-brick form of an old Twoleg nest. Inside, there is nothing much left, though it is good for emergency shelter, can house a few mice, and is a great supply of cobwebs. Twolegs themselves seem to avoid the place, so there is hardly any chance for it to be restored.

The far edge of the gorge and falls marks the border between RiverClan and WindClan, but they, in substance, are RiverClan's. No cat can fish here, as it is far too dangerous, and the water is left foaming after it's great fall for many, many fox-lengths. It can give a refreshing spray during the hot days of green-leaf, but don't lean in too close!
