elder's den

The elders have their own den, sheltered by a fallen log and slightly smaller than the apprentice's den but still very roomy, though it sometimes gets damp. Retired warriors rest here, and kits can be seen racing to the entrance for stories, a mouse or two dangling from their little jaws - an offering for the elderly cats. Even leaders and deputies come to the soft, warm den for advice.
