In the heart of ShadowClan territory, a huge burnt tree is still attached to the ground. Half of it is dead, burned and blackened by a wildfire that ravaged the land so long ago that no elder can remember, but its roots are deep and alive, far down inside the ground. Prey is mildly abundant here.

ShadowClan's carrion place is a garbage dump for Twolegs, smelling putrid and ridden with rats. It is found on the north-western corner of ShadowClan territory, where the small thunderpath curves in a little bit. Only in desperate times do warriors actually eat crow-food, but rats seem to be just a tougher variation of mouse...

ShadowClan has a Thunderpath of it's very own, a border with no clan's land - Highstones. it's much, much smaller than the one that separates it from ThunderClan, harboring only the occasional monster. It's lined on the side by dense bushes, but ShadowClan warriors have made tunnels through them to make travelling easier.

ShadowClan owns a tunnel beneath the large thunderpath, which it shares with ThunderClan. It's an easy way to pass the roaring monsters, though the first time down there it's quite scary. ThunderClan has mostly blocked off their end of the tunnel, but half a day's worth of digging should fix that problem...

A small brook meanders across half of ShadowClan territory, the water nearly still. It seems to be connected to ThunderClan's stream on the other side of the thunderpath, going through a metallic tunnel to avoid the monsters. It gives way to a marshy area with lots of ponds and extremely wet mud. Watch your step!

Part of ShadowClan's territory is covered in an expanse of evergreen trees, mostly pine. Birds, mice, and squirrels can be found here, though a lot of the woodland prey prefer ThunderClan's deciduous forest. Apprentices can come here to practice their hunting skills and climb trees.
