Darkness shall emerge From a legend long spoken, When blood feeds the river For a past promise broken
Through the blaze of the fire Through the mist of the rain Through the guilt of the battle Through a heart full of shame, Through an ocean of tears And a mountain of pain, A silhouette is sighted Of a warrior with no name
He will ravage the forest Turn predator to prey, And bend the four oaks With a price hard to pay
Only the blood of the fallen Their flesh and their bone, Can restore the five clans And return them their throne.
In English:
A cat from the legend of LionClan, LeopardClan, and TigerClan -- a leopard, shall emerge, but he is the dark 'version', during a great battle in which the river will run with blood. The cause of this battle is a promise that has been broken - but long ago in the past.
During a fire while it's raining, the cat who caused the battle regrets everything, and sights the silhouette of a giant cat upon a hill.
The cat is a leopard, and will bring more of his kind and ravage the forest, preying upon the cats. He bends the four oaks, meaning defeat the four clans during a gathering, and demand a high price -- a sacrifice of cats for food, otherwise he will kill with force.
Only the blood of the fallen -- the clans are the fallen, and their blood is BloodClan. Can drive away the dark leopards and return the five clans (the four clans and StarClan... or the four clans and BloodClan?) to their rule over the forest as apex predator.
What the Prophecy Doesn't Say:
The battle takes place because there was an old romance between a tom and a she-cat, and the tom promised the she-cat that he would protect her and love her forever. But the tom fell for another cat, and left the first one. She was devastated, and left her clan and joined BloodClan. Eventually, she made it as their leader. Wanting revenge, she attacks her old clan since the tom she used to love became the leader. The other clans come to their aid, and a huge battle is fought. The tom escapes the battle for a little, and feels horrible about all of the bloodshed. He sees the leopard. The dark leopard will pretend to help the four clans against BloodClan when he first arrives, and with his help the four clans defeat BloodClan. They don't think of him as the prophecy cat, since he helped them, but only the tom knows. He tries to convince them but no one believes him. The leopard suddenly reveals his true self during a gathering, leaping onto the GreatRock(and if the player of the tom wants, he can be killed once or for good). He demands that a cat must be sent to him every day for his meals or he and his three companions will attack. They are much bigger, and everyone is frightened. Knowing that his demand is high and the cat population will diminish, the leopard also declares that any she-cat who is not heavy with kits in two months will be brutally killed. The leopard then sets out to conquer the only place he hasn't yet gotten a grip on -- the twolegplace, which includes the kittypets and BloodClan. BloodClan is furious with their defeat, but their she-cat leader is clever. She pretends to welcome the leopard, which confuses him, and offeres an alliance. When they are talking, cats ambush him and attack. His three companions had been asked to stay away during the private discussion, and they were offered a meal while they were waiting: rabbits stuffed full with poppy seeds, since deathberries smelled too strongly for the leopard's enhanced sense of smell. They became drugged and sleepy, so while a war waged on with the leader, the rest of the clan attacked the leopard. Despite the precautions and drugging, the leopards were still winning. Many cats died, and a BloodClan apprentice goes to run for help. The rest of the four clans come and aid them, and finally drive the leopards off, killing the leader. At the end of the battle, the tom finds the BloodClan she-cat dead on the ground, her side ripped completely open and her bones showing (their flesh and their bone...) [[It's up to the player of the tom what to do next, he can suicide, or live on, etc.]]
Prophecy Cats Needed: -A female leader of BloodClan -A male leader of another Clan -A dark leopard
I am taking suggestions and revisions of this plot, I thought the entire thing up [[including the poem]] while I was lying in bed last night, so there might be flaws. XP Auditions for the parts will be held when more members come.

- A name for the group of leopards could be The League.

Sounds great! I like the idea of having to team up with Bloodclan. Bringing Starclan into it might be a little weird though, since the leopards have nothing to do with our ancestors or any idea of how to hurt them. I think the leopards should give a time limit for the clans decisions on sacrificing cats. Because I doubt any leader would willingly hand over a warrior to death. So the leopards could kill cats, and demand cats, but by the time they're gone it might be too late to sacrifice.
These are just ideas, I'm not demanding any changes.

What do you mean by 'bringing StarClan into it'? Yeah, I doubt any decent leader would sacrifice any cat but him/herself, though there most definitely could be a corrupt leader/cowardly one -- that'd be awesome, only problem is that I don't expect anyone to relinquish their cat's good personality for a plot, esp. a leader. I like the time limit, too - probably a small window, maybe two days for the first sacrifice, then one each day from each of the clans. And the cats could nearly break out into a war over who is the first to give up a cat. I love ideas. And demanding changes aren't too bad, either. ((PS: The fire while it's raining is because it's a thunder/lightning storm, and the lightning hits a tree and sets it on fire, and the 'mist of the rain' refers to the steam that comes up when you put water on fire.))

Including starclan in the prophecy's "Can restore the five clans" Leopard clan couldn't attack starclan, they wouldn't need to be restored. So instead of the four clans and starclan, the four clans and bloodclan.
That's a good point. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll get a really shallow leader. And if any leader spot is open, we could make them sacrifice. Or, I just thought of this, a deputy turns over cats. A little mutiny to protect the clan.

Haha, yeah, or a warrior is brave and noble enough to volunteer and just go, or an apprentice... Ohh, I see what you mean by bringing StarClan into it! Yeah, my plan was to have BloodClan be the fifth clan, but the four clans didn't know how to interpret it, either as StarClan being the fifth or BloodClan. Of course, they think it's StarClan to begin with, but at the end, they realize that they were wrong.

That makes perfect sense. Why would the medi cats and leaders predict working together with Bloodclan, when so many other prophecies name Starclan as the fifth clan.

Okay, thanks! Hmmm... so for the characters, I'm not sure any leader would want their personality and stuff dictated by a plot, so if no one volunteers their charrie, maybe we could have a temporary leader(s). Like, they both die and then the actual leader 'takes over'. Something like that.. get it?

Makes sense, they would only need to be around for the plot, and then we'd be through with them. That'll make great history for the new leader's bio. If no one wants her, I'll make an account for the bloodclan leader.

Lol. XD Thanks!!
I was considering turning the leopards into just another group of feral cats, though they're larger than the forest cats. 'Cuz what's the chance that real leopards would come, and that mere cats can beat them..? Any ideas?
